All our tours are small group tours up to 8/10 participants, it depends on the activity.

We really love animals, and the nature sourrounding the StarsBOX would be a perfect place for them, unfortunately our friends can't be admitted to the experience because the wood cabin isn't big enough to host them
My dog is very small, can I take it with me?
Even if the size of you puppy is really small we can't admit it because inside the StarsBOX there is only place for the king bed and it means that it would sleep on it, for hygenic reasons we can't.

What kind of support do you offer while on a trip?
We completely support you both on and off the bike.
We always have one guide in our support vehicle (shuttle in tow) and another guide on the bike at the head of the group.
While traveling our staff, in case of necessity, will change your tire for example, or call for the shuttle or shuttle you up the hill, they will provide you with local insights and make sure everyone is enjoying their ride.
Off the bike, your guides keep being at your service to help you with anything you need till the end of the holiday.

If you have luggage or bags with you and you don't know how to join the activity
I have a bike rental/tour, and I have my luggage with me. How can I do?
In order to join the activity without worries, you can leave your luggage at our bike point, safely stored for the entire duration of the activity.
I left my luggage at the Bike Point, but is has been stolen or damage. Who pay for it?
Keeping your luggage in our Bike Point it's a kindness we do to you. But sometimes our staff have to move away from there ( to recover people with flat tire for example), and we can't be responsible for damage or theft of your luggage.
If you don't want worries about it, we suggest you to leave your luggage at an official store luggage.
I have a bag, can I take it with me?
Yes, you can take it with you on your back or in case it is quite small ( 6L) you can also store it in the handlebar bag of the bike.

It is only your responsibility.

What kind of bike trip is it?
Choosing one of our Bike Trips means coming into contact with the traditions, history, gastronomy, art and nature of the chosen destinations, strengthening the connection between the participants of the group.
Is the bike holiday safe?
Our Bike Holiday are safety experience, you will ride your bike just behind your guide but you will always have our shuttle in tow. In case of tiredness or physical problem you could keep on traveling with us .
Is it challenging?
Our Bike Trip are far from the common ones. What is important for us are the experiences you'll do along the way, not really the lenght of the track.
I have luggages with me, what can I do?
Don' t worry about your luggage, we offer the transfer service (1 luggage per person included) all the trip long.
Is the departure always guaranteed?
No it isn't. Our bike Holidays have minimum number of participants.
If we don't reach that number for that trip you'll get the fully refund.
I would like a single room. Is it possible?
Yes of course, if you don't want to share the room with nobody, you can ask for a single room, but there will be an extra to pay. Remember to select the EXTRA SINGLE ROOM option during the booking of your trip in order to assure you this extra service.

Not all our bicycle travels are on cycle path or inside green areas, some of them take place along open car traffic streets (or traffic-limited roads) and it could be unsafe to ride with children. Anyway some of our bike trips are more safe (especially those taking place inside Rome) and they can be suitable also for younger children.

Will it be challenging for my children?
Going on a Bike Holiday means that you'll have to ride for a few hours a day on electric bike. There will be many breaks of course, but some of our itineraries could be tiring for children. It can be challenging for children younger than 16, who cannot use e-bike but only regular bike. (without a pedal assistance they would have to pedal by their own muscle power all day long)

How can I book a Bike Holiday for me and my children?
You can book it by selecting the number of adults and young participants but remember, the minimum age on most of our scheduled departures is 16. If your children are younger please contact us before booking. We'll suggest you the right choice for your family needs.
My baby can't pedal because is too young, can I take him/her with me?
All babies up to 20 kg, can travel on baby rear seat of the bike. Please note that it might be uncomfortable for children to remain seated for so many hours on the bike rear seat. For this reason we can suggest you the easiest and shortest trips to not to stress your babies.

If you are a less experienced rider, and your height is between two sizes, the smaller of the two is usually a better choice.
Which is the minimum height to ride an electric bike?
It is possible to get on our e-bikes with a minimum height of 140cm, with a good confidence in riding the bike.
Which kind of bike can my son/daughter ride?
Children up to 140 cm (or older than 12 years old) can ride regular bike.
Children up to 20 kg can stay on the rear baby seat.
Children between 5 and 9 years can also stay on a trailer bike.

I'm not experienced, can I rent a bike or book a tour?
Not every tour is similar to another, someone is easy with a path on streets not opened to car traffic, and some other is more difficult with the road surface are unsafe such as cobblestones on Appian Way.
Before making a reservation please contact us in order to verify your skill and suggest you the best solution for you.
It is my first time on a bike, can I do the tour?
Remember that you'll ride on possible dirt roads or roads open to traffic, so you will need good bike skills. Talk about it with your guide.

If your booked at Lungotevere Bike Point you can park in the blue signs parking, but remember to pay the parking fee at the automatic pay desk or by "Easypark" app.
Is there a car parking near your bike point at Via del Gesù?
If your booked at Via del Gesù Bike Point, we suggest you not to come with the car because it's inside the ZTL area. If you prefer you can park at Lungotevere near by Tiberine Island and come to us on foot.

Starsbox Experience (STARRY NIGHTS)
Here some details to let you know how it works
Is there a bathroom?
Yes there is. The bathroom is really tiny but has the essentials you would need: toilet and little sink. Outside, just next to it, you'll find the outdoor shower with curtain. All with hot water.
How big is the Starsbox?
Starsbox is big enough for a king size bed, no more than this.
Can I take my children with me?
Of course, you can book this experience including children too, but please remeber they will sleep sharing the bed with parents.
How does the self checkin work?
It is very simple!
Few days before arrival you will be asked to send your documents throught whatsapp. The day of the experience you will be sent a short code that you need to dial once arrived infront of the gate.
There you'll find a keyboard locker on the leftern side of the gate, where you are supposed to enter the received code.
At this point the locker will open and you'll find the keys of the gate and of Starsbox.
How does the self check out work?
The check out has to be within 10 am. After closing Starsbox and turning off all electric devices:
- Go out the gate and leave the keys in the mailbox outside the gate
- Notify the host you are leaving with a message
Where we will have breakfast?
For the season 2024 Breakfast will be self service, so you'll find all you need at the back of the Starsbox, inside a specific locker.

Instead we require a minimum level of confidence with the regular bike if they pedal alone, because it could happen to ride along opened car traffic streets.

For a safer experience we recommend booking a tour with a route not open to car traffic such as Appia Antica or Villa Borghese.
Can my son/daughter ride electric bike?
We strongly recommend renting electric bikes only in the case of very experienced children, otherwise it could be dangerous for them to ride a vehicle that reaches 25km/h on rough roads or roads open to traffic.
Anyway, electric bikes are only from 150 cm height.

Yes, you can use your own bike instead of one of ours, but please note that if anything occurs we can't grant the right assistance to it (we will travel taking all tools to repair our bike and isn't sure they will fit for your bike).

What happened if my own bike broke up during the bike holiday?
We are there to help you! Will travel taking all tools to repair our bikes but isn't sure they will fit for your bike. We will try for sure, but it's only your responsibility if we can't repair it and you won't have a bike to use.

What to I have to know before booking a Bike Trip?
- Departure is guaranteed upon reaching the minimum number of participants. If this does not happen, you can change your trip or ask us for a full refund of the amount paid.
- For organizational reasons, the hotel could accommodate the participants in another connected structure, with equal treatment.
- Some accommodation facilities may request a credit card at check-in as a guarantee for any consumption or extra services (minibar, spa entrances,...). The card is unlocked at check out.
- The itinerary may undergo changes before and/or during the holiday for organizational reasons, climatic conditions (intended exclusively for strong thunderstorms and not drizzle) or for provisions of the local authorities.
- No refund will be provided for changes or failure to carry out the program due to the causes mentioned above. In the event of closures that cannot be foreseen at the time of publication of the program, we will replace the scheduled visit with other places of interest.

Balance is essential, as basic skill level on biking.
If you don't fell safe riding please do not book bike activities.
Instead, if you have basic skills, but you want to take part to an activity without worries we suggest you Villa Borghese Area to take a ride.
I don' t feel comfortable on riding in open car traffic streets, what do you suggest?
There aren't many cycle paths in Rome but riding with a guide will be safer for almost the tours we offer.
If you want to rent a bike and pedal by your own instead, we suggest the Villa Borghese Park or Appia Antica path ( but this last has cobblestone surface so please pay attention not to fall down!)

Balance is essential, as basic skill level on biking.
If you don't fell safe riding please do not book bike activities.
Instead, if you have basic skills, but you want to take part to an activity without worries we suggest you Villa Borghese Area to take a ride.
I don' t feel comfortable on riding in open car traffic streets, what do you suggest?
There aren't many cycle paths in Rome but riding with a guide will be safer for almost the tours we offer.
If you want to rent a bike and pedal by your own instead, we suggest the Villa Borghese Park or Appia Antica path ( but this last has cobblestone surface so please pay attention not to fall down!)

Can I rent a bike for few days?
If you choose the option of two or more days rental, check with the accommodation facility if it is possible to put the bicycle in safe places, it is a mandatory factor.
Don't park the bike overnight on the streets.
In case of damage or theft you'll be the only responsible for it.
I rent a bike for N° hours, can I extend the rental?
Of course you can. Please contact us to verify the availability ( in case we are fully booked and your bike should have been return for another booking). You will pay for the extra hours of rental at your return to the Bike Point.

Bike & Luggage Holiday (BIKE HOLIDAY)
I have a bike holiday, and I have my luggage with me. What can I do?
You can take your luggage with you ( one luggage per person) as it's included in the price of the holiday you paid.
If you have more than one luggage, you can pay for the extra luggage transfer service by contacting us.
I left my luggage to the guy of the Shuttle service, but is has been stolen or damage. Who pay for it?
Included in the price of your bike trip, there is the insurance policy.

I have a small bag, can I take it with me?
Yes, you can take it with you on your back or in case it is quite small ( 6L) you can also store it in the handlebar bag of the bike.

I'm leaving, what Do I have to do?
- Turn off the lantern and all other lights
- Store everything you have used and consumed inside the StarsBOX
- Lock windows, roof and door with keys
- Go out the gate and leave the keys in the mailbox outside the gate
- Notify the host you are leaving with a message

If you bought the RESCUE COVER (at a cost of €12 per booking, to be paid before departure), we make the recovery for free in the event of a puncture.

If you don't have the RESCUE COVER, we can try to recover you, if our staff is available. It is not mandatory for us, but we'll make everything possible to come and help you. The recovery will be charged at a cost of 15 euro per booking.

You're welcome to join our tour, our software won't let you book the tour only for 1 person, but if you contact us, we will help you to get it.
Please note that you'll be added to an existing group for that tour according to our availability.

You're welcome to join our tour, you can make the reservation for just 1 person and you'll be added to an existing group for that trip in the date you chose.
Please note that bike holiday have guaranteed departure if we reach the minimum number of participants, this number you can check it in the description of any bike holiday we offer.
As I travel alone, I would like a single room. Is it possible?
Yes of course, you can ask for a single room for your Bike Holiday but there will be an extra to pay. Remember to select the EXTRA SINGLE ROOM during the booking of your trip in order to assure you this extra service.

I have a reservation but the day of the experience is going to rain, can we move the booking?
In the event of a STORM (heavy rain) it is possible to move the experience subject to Starsbox availability within 10 days of the booked date.

Refund can be issued if cancelled at least 7 days before the event, no last minute cancellation will be considered as refundable.

Wood Camp is a brand new proposal, for those who love Nature, Wild, and Adventure.
It's like an equipped forest where you will find anything you need sourrounded by an uncontaminated environment. Here you'll do different activities and you'll sleep in tents floating between trees.

Wood Camp is located next to Nemi Lake, not far from Rome.
