What to expect
Trade Rome’s traffic for a day of villas, views and a proper lunch in Frascati, a hill town in the Castelli Romani just a short train ride from the city.
Meet your guide, get on your bike and take the train with us from Termini. In Frascati, we ride past the grand villas built by cardinals and nobles, including Villa Aldobrandini, then follow forest trails up to Tusculum. From the archaeological park, Rome lies spread out on the horizon, so have your camera ready.
Then it’s time to eat. Lunch is at a fraschetta, one of the traditional taverns of the Castelli Romani, with two glasses of wine included. Afterwards we ride back through Frascati and take the train home to Rome.
Your train tickets, bike, helmet and lunch are all included, and groups stay small with 8 guests per guide. Choose an e-bike and the climbs feel much easier.

Groups and Tour Confirmation
- Minimum number of participants: The tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the number is not reached, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
- Maximum Group Size: The limit is set at 8 guests per guide to ensure a personalized experience. We can be flexible (1-2 extra guests) so as not to separate family/group bookings; the tour can still depart with fewer than 6 people.
Route, Safety, and Variations
- Route: This tour winds through the historic centers of villages and along picturesque forest trails.
- Route variations: In the event of celebrations, official events, or public demonstrations, the operator reserves the right to replace one or more highlights of the itinerary to ensure the safety of the group.
Suitability, Experience, and Discretion
- Riding Experience: You must be able to ride a bicycle confidently.
- Test and Denial: A brief assessment test will be conducted prior to departure. The guide has the absolute right to refuse participation (without refund) to any guest deemed unsuitable due to insufficient driving skills or poor physical/mental condition.
Children Policy
- Age requirement to participate: Participants must be between 16 and 79 years of age.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of the Tour.
- No refund if cancellation occurs within 24 hours before the start of the experience
